Our next Alpha Celebration Dinner is Wednesday, January 13th from 6:45 - 9:15 PM. This dinner will introduce you to Alpha, a free course designed to help you explore the Christian faith (high school age and up). Great for those who want to grow in their Christian life. Youth Advance is a 3 day God-Intoxicated, Bible-Soaked, Cross-Centered conference for students in middle school and high school and their parents. YA10 is about youth, parents, & youth leaders coming together to encounter & exalt Jesus Christ through worship in song with the youth advance band, life changing teaching from God's Word, powerful ministry times, & rich Biblical fellowship with one another. We also have plenty of time to glorify God by having some serious fun: basketball, volleyball, football, ropes course, indoor rock climbing, fully loaded game room, snack shop, outrageous games, giveaways, hanging out with friends-you get the idea! Youth Advance Work Crew... We are in need of several adults to serve on the Work Crew for Youth Advance March 5 - 7, 2010! You must be 18 or older and not a parent of a Cross Current teen. Do you have a desire to grow in your understanding and application of God's Word? If so, these studies may be for you. Classes for our new Group Bible Studies begin October 11th and 12th. Youth Advance Sunday... Sunday, March 7th our children's ministry will only include care for nursery, 2 and 3 year olds due to all of the families attending Youth Advance. If you are attending Youth Advance and are scheduled to serve in other capacities, please arrange for a substitute.
Today is the first Sunday of the month and we will take our monthly Advancing the Mission Fund collection. Thank you for your generosity.
Abram Ministry: Nostalgia Night at the Movies... All seniors 55 and over are cordially invited to fellowship together for a potluck luncheon and to watch the movie North By Northwest. Please contact Arlyn Miranda at 410-931-1685, to let her know you'll be attending. She'll let you know what dish to bring at that time. The Adventure will be held on Sunday, March 7th after the service, on the balcony.

Alpha Healing Service... Does God Heal Today? We have opened up our Alpha Course meeting on Wednesday, March 10th to anyone interested in this topic or to those interested in having someone pray for them. We will be meeting on the balcony from 7:30 - 9:00 PM. Come and be encouraged by God's word, His power, and grace. Childcare available for ages 13 and under.
Come join us for a time of prayer. Our prayer meetings are held on the first Saturday of every month for two hours from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in the Prayer Room. Summer Sports Camp Meeting... There will be a meeting for all those interested in serving during our Summer Sports Camp on Monday, March 15th at Steve Medinger's home, from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. A dinner will be served for those who can arrive at 6:30. Please RSVP to Steve at 443.299.9566 by March 14th.
All high school and middle school students and their parents are invited to participate in Cross Current Unplugged. Our night will include a time for worship, teaching, and participation in community groups. Invite your friends! Parents: remember we will be meeting in the "parent room" (the balcony) for coffee, teaching & discussion while your sons/daughters are meeting in their community groups. We will be talking about the common assumptions that we as parents often make regarding our teens. Please make these times a priority!
The Outreach Saturday scheduled for March 20th has been rescheduled for April 10th.
Special Guest Speaker... Next Sunday, March 21, we will have a special guest speaker who is currently a student at the Sovereign Grace Pastors' College. His name is Kevin Rogers.
Ministry Appreciation Luncheon Gathering Place Workers, Children's Registration Workers, and Guardians ... If you are serving in any of these ministries this year, please join Pastor Steve for an appreciation luncheon in your honor on Sunday, March 21st at 12:30 PM. Please RSVP by March 15th to Becky@gracecommunity.org or on your Welcome Card. Because of the need to order food, we will not be able to accommodate those who do not RSVP by March 15th.
China Team... There is a meeting on Sunday, March 21st after the service in the Spurgeon Room.
Lay Counselor Meeting... March 25th
Mulch Day... Men, women and older children are encouraged to join us on Saturday, March 27th from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM for our outdoor work day. We'll be spreading mulch, so bring your shovels, rakes, gloves, and wheel barrows. Please let us know your interest on your Welcome Card or contact Jeff Gray at Jeff@gracecommunity.org. A pizza lunch will be served!
