The Ministry Mission

As older men and women of Grace Community Church . . .

To encourage one another -

In our desire to grow in our walk with God, (Micah 6:8)
In our seeking to be nourished by the gospel each day, (1 Cor 9:23), and
In our willingness to do as Jesus calls us to do: "whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do" (John 14:12);

To support one another -

In our longing for biblical fellowship with one another, (1 John 1:7),
In our willingness to be accountable to each other, (James 5:16),
In our desire to listen to God's call to serve Him, even to suffer in so doing, (2 Tim 4:5), and
In our commitment to be God's ambassadors (2 Cor 5:20);

To worship God -

In prayerfully thanking Him for His steadfast love, (Psalm 107:8),
In prayerfully glorifying Him for His faithfulness, (Psalm 115:1), and
In praising Him in song, (Psalm 146:1);

AND . . .

To be a spiritual example to the young (Titus 2:1-8)
