Monthly Prayer Meeting

Come join us for a night of prayer and worship as we gather together as a church family to seek God. This Corporate Prayer Meeting will be held on the the first Saturday of every month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. . Call Pastor Dan Zorn for more information (410.877.1978).

Who: All who attend Grace Community Church - members, regular attenders, singles, families, care groups, teens, etc.
What: Pray for two hours with others from Grace Community
Where: Prayer Room, Grace Community Church
When: First Saturday of every month from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
Why: To corporately give thanks to the Lord for what he's doing in our midst. And to lift up prayer requests for monthly ministry events, personal requests, and healings.
How: We provide a short teaching on prayer. And that meeting will be led by Pastor Dan Zorn.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. I've never been to a monthly prayer meeting before. What happens at a prayer meeting? The prayer meeting is a time for each of us to gather together with others from the church for two hours to pray for specific requests for the church.

2. I don't like to pray out loud. Should I still come? Yes. You can play a part by just being there and even praying silently during the time. No one will make you feel uncomfortable or put you under any pressure.

3. Can I bring my kids? We encourage you to make this a family event and bring your older children, since this can be a great testimony and model to every one in your family. But please be aware that this is a solemn time before the Lord and children must be able to be orderly and non-disruptive during this time.

4. How will I know what to pray/do at a prayer meeting? Pastor Dan Zorn or another pastor will be giving instructions, leading this two hour period, and answering any questions along the way.

5. I'm not a member of Grace Community. Can I still attend? Yes. We encourage you to attend. This can be a time in which you can not only meet others from the church but also observe and participate with us as a church family.

NOTE: We have two corporate prayer opportunities: the Monthly Prayer Meeting (7:00pm-9:00pm) and the quarterly Prayer Vigil (5:45am-5:45pm).
