Elementary
We believe that the simple message that Jesus died for our sins
should be taught to our children. A primary way we do this is by using the curriculum “God’s Story.” Beginning in Genesis, this three year program unfolds the drama of God’s promise to put an end to the curse of sin and to restore his kingdom, relating every story of the Bible to the big, unstoppable story of God’s redemptive plan. 1st Grade goes through this curriculum in a self-contained classroom. 2nd—5th graders are taught by one teacher in a large group setting and then break down into small groups to discuss the lesson. In addition, we offer parents a five day devotional guide to use in their home on our website. Our elementary teachers include many parents because we find that they have a vested interest in the quality of teaching and do an excellent job in the classroom.
