Family

At Grace Community Church, we are passionate about pursuing God's design for marriage and all of family life. God has not only ordained the family as the foundation of human society, but strong families help build strong churches. The Bible teaches us that marriage between one man and one woman is ultimately a reflection of the covenant relationship between Christ and the church. Along with building God glorifying marriages, we want to help equip and encourage parents in their calling of instructing and training their children in the Lord. We have several specific ways that we seek to care for and strengthen families in our church.

Engagement

If you are anticipating the joy of marriage, we want to help prepare you for not only that special wedding day, but for a life-long commitment together as husband and wife. We offer couples 7 premarital sessions covering a range of biblically informed topics that will help every engaged couple go into their marriage with a solid foundation. These sessions are personal and provide a context for engaged couples to ask lots of questions.

Care Groups

Our care groups provide an ongoing support network with other believers within the church where we can help one another seek to apply God's Word to our marriages and parenting.  For more info on care groups, please click here.

Marriage & Parenting Seminars & Conferences

Throughout the year we provide a number of contexts both within the church and outside the church where married couples/parents can receive ongoing teaching from God's Word on a variety of topics related to both marriage and parenting.

Parenting Youth

Parents of middle school and high school students are encouraged to attend a monthly meeting specifically designed for them called The Parent Room.  This meeting is a great place to learn and dialog about this season of life.  As parents build relationships with other parents and receive practical teaching, they gain wisdom for parenting their teens.  The Parent Room usually meets on the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM while their teen attends Unplugged.  To visit our events calendar, please click here.
