Welcome to The Gathering Place (TGP)

Welcome to The Gathering Place, the name for Grace Community's Sunday morning children’s ministry .It is our desire to nurture and build into the lives of our children, leading them to a clear understanding of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and instilling in them a reverence for God, a delight in His salvation, and a heart to serve Him. While we recognize that the first responsibility to children for these things rests with every child’s parents, as a church family we strive to enrich this process by coming alongside parents in helping them to disciple their children.

From Nursery through Elementary School ages, The Gathering Place is our way of serving our children Sunday mornings, with meaningful opportunities to learn about their Creator, their heritage and treasure in Christ, and the joys of worshipping and serving Him.

The Gathering Place is staffed and administrated mostly by volunteer members of our church family, who undergo on-going training with each term of service. In the event that a child’s parents need to be contacted in the Sanctuary during a Celebration Service, the family’s PIN number is displayed discretely at the bottom of the overhead screen.
