What is Beta?
Have you attended the Alpha course and are now ready for the next step? Are you looking for a place to learn how to use the Bible in your everyday life or a place to have a beginning small group experience but feel like you still need to learn the basics? Consider coming to Beta.
Beta is a 10-week course-- new and improved, and moved to Wednesday nights-- designed to disciple believers in their walk with God (yes, a FREE dinner is provided, and child care is available). In an encouraging and supportive atmosphere, you will grow in learning how to study the Bible, in understanding your salvation, the progressive process of sanctification and how growth takes place. You will experience close biblical fellowship, and have an opportunity to attend the Alpha/Beta Retreat.
Objectives of the Beta Course:
A. Growing in our ability and skills of studying the Bible.
B. Understanding the incredible salvation that we have received through faith in Jesus Christ.
C. Learning how to grow in my relationship with God and change into the new person Christ made me to be (through sanctification).
D. Experiencing and learning what Biblical relationships and Biblical fellowship look like.
E. Understanding my need for involvement with a small group of Christians and my need for a commitment to a local church.
