This Sunday, we will start our 31st Angel Tree Season at Grace Community Church. Angel Tree is through Prison Fellowship Ministry and connects parents who are currently in prison with their children by buying and delivering gifts from sponsors to the children’s caregiver’s home.  We also provide a Christmas meal for each family. 

This year our church is reaching out to at least 100 children whose parents are incarcerated in 50 caregivers’ homes.  The gifts are a way to connect these parents with their children.  We buy each child toys and clothing based on the caregiver’s guidance then wrap the gifts with a small message from the incarcerated parent.  We need your help and here are some ways you can get involved.

Prayer partners for each family – “Oh give thanks unto the Lord for His love endures forever”.  We thank God for each Angel Tree family and pray they may know His love through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Financial donations are very much needed and appreciated.  We still need to buy gifts and food for over 130 Angels and food for 45 families.  You can make donations using the Grace Community website and use the pull down fund tab for "Angel Tree".

Professional Shoppers:We also need professional shoppers who enjoy shopping for clothing and toys.  We will provide cash and you pick up the gifts.  See Mark Palmer at the Angel Tree table in the colonnade for more information.

Volunteers including drivers to bring families to the Angel Tree Party on Saturday, Dec. 10.  Matt and Stephanie Weigl are leading our Angel Tree Party Team and the Team has planned a whole day of fun.  We also are looking to borrow big blow-up decorations for that time.

Deliverers: people to visit those Angel Tree families who can’t make the party.
