If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before. GriefShare is a 15-week seminar support group that features biblical Christ-centered teachings that focus on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one. The 3 aspects of GriefShare are a Video Seminar (featuring nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories of people), Small Group discussion (about what was viewed) and the Personal Workbook (Individual study and application of concepts).
No matter what the cause of your loved one’s death, this is an opportunity to be around people who understand what you are feeling. You will learn how to recognize the symptoms of being stuck in grief and that you don’t need to live in bondage to certain emotions. You will find encouragement, comfort, and help in grieving your loved one and will learn valuable information about facing your new normal in life and renewing your hope for the future. We encourage you to join us any week in the session. This program does not build on each week but can be started at any point in the program.
