We know how awkward and nervous it can be to visit any place that is unfamiliar. We have a team of people who want to do everything possible to make your visit with us on a Sunday an enjoyable one. Our desire is to be winsome and to befriend and serve all people that walk through our doors. Here are some frequently asked questions that you may find helpful for you and your family as it relates to our Sunday Gatherings.

Here are some frequently asked questions that you may find helpful for you and your family as it relates to our Sunday Gatherings.
When and where do you meet on Sundays?
Our Sunday Gathering (for all ages) takes place on Sunday at 10 am. We are located at 11611 Belair Road, Kingsville, MD 21087.
Do I need to dress up?
Nope. Come as you are. You will find most people in jeans, shorts, and t-shirts while others prefer to dress more “business casual”. You may even find a few folks who still like to rock the tie. How you dress is completely up to you. We are just excited to have you.
Do you have programs for kids during the service?
We sure do! Your family is a big deal to us so we’ve designed some amazing environments for kids from birth through elementary age. Our kid’s ministry is called “GraceKids” and we count it an unbelievable privilege to serve and partner with parents in this way. GraceKids is more than babysitting. We have an entire section of our building devoted and designed specifically for kids of all different ages. Our passion is that kids would feel safe, loved and accepted as they discover from the pages of the Bible what it means to be known and loved by Jesus and learn what it means to follow Him. Every kid-friendly room is clean, safe, secure and age-appropriate so you can have peace of mind as a parent. All of our incredible volunteers have had background checks and have received through training.
We do recommend that you arrive 10-15 minutes before the service starts so you have time to register your child(ren) at the GraceKids registration booth which is located in our lobby.
What’s the main Sunday service like?
Our main service lasts about 85 minutes and involves singing, encouragement from scripture, prayer, testimonies about how Jesus is at work in people’s lives, monthly communion, baptisms, sometimes creative and artistic elements and always a message that is rooted in scripture and points to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our messages are a combination of preaching through entire books of the Bible as well as covering specific relevant topics and themes that are rooted in scripture. We also like to give time to reflect and respond to God in a personal way after the message. Regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey, we hope your time with us will point you to the God who made you and loves you. We are not perfect, but Jesus is, and we gather together to fix our eyes on Jesus and what He can do through us who are imperfect and broken people. If you’re not sure about Christianity, our Sunday Gathering is actually a safe place to get to know some Christians, ask questions and see for yourself what the Bible says about the person and work of Jesus.
What happens after the service?
Because church is not a building but rather a community of people, we love to connect with others after the service. The Café is open immediately following the service and is located in the colonnade. It’s a great place to relax and meet others after the service. The coffee and drinks are always free and the proceeds from all the food sales go to support our Compassion International children. Your kids will love the Café too!
